Quick start for git users

First run​

The HighFlux bundle contains bothHighFlux, the GUI program, and hf, the command line tool.

highflux

During the first run, HighFlux will:

  • Ensure your git username and email are configured.
  • Ensure that a git push command can complete successfully without asking for a username and password.
  • Ask you to connect to your GitHub account.
  • Ask you to add your git repository. To have a clean start the first time you run HighFlux, ensure your git workspace has no open changes, then add the repository.
